Detection, not recording
Many premises already have cameras. A camera records what happened and who was involved: a record worth having, and one that is only useful once the incident is over.
An alarm system is built to work during the incident. Sensors watch the premises continuously; when one is triggered, the panel sounds the alarm and the people you nominate are notified by SMS and phone call. Someone knows while it is still happening.

Active Response vs. Passive Recording
A CCTV camera only records what happened after the criminal leaves. Ultimate Secure sounds the 110dB siren and alerts 5 nominated contacts by SMS and phone call while the intrusion is still happening.
